Cook Park neighborhood of Tigard: This neighborhood is situated around Cook Park and is generally considered to be south of Durham Rd. to the Tualatin River, with Tigard High School being the eastern boundary and SW 113Th being the western boundary. Cook Park is 79 acres on the Tualatin River that offers an abundance of recreational activities. Cook Park is the location for Tigard’s signature event, the Tigard Festival of Balloons.
The Cook Park neighborhood is primarily single family homes that can start at about $250,000 and go up to over $500,000. The homes are a mixture of well kept old and new, with well established landscaping, and have a garden/woody feel. There are very few thru streets, so there is little street traffic and noise, but it is east to get to know your way around.
